The first career win came at Newcastle back in December 2025, which was clearly a turning point. Then, just last week at Naas on 24 June 2026, Platino Bianco won again — and raced again just one day later, which shows the horse is healthy and in good form right now. Two wins in the space of a few months, after such a long wait for even the first, suggests something has clicked.

Trained by Conor David Maxwell out of Stamullen in Co. Meath, Platino Bianco is part of a yard that has sent out 7 winners this season, so there is clearly things going well on the training front. The most recent form figures — a win, a placed run, and a fifth — paint a picture of a horse that is running consistently near the front end without always converting, but one that knows how to win when the moment comes. The most regular partner in the saddle has been Robbie Colgan, who has ridden the horse 12 times without a win between them. Both of Platino Bianco's victories have come with someone else aboard — a small detail, but one worth noting.

But horses that find form at five, after grinding through a long sequence of near-misses, can often keep it going once they have figured things out.
