Her rider that day, Warren Fentiman, described her as a horse who had every reason to stop when he asked her to stretch clear — and she simply refused. The puzzle in her record is Callum Rodriguez, her most regular partner, who has yet to win in five rides together. That is not necessarily a damning statistic — horses and jockeys sometimes just do not click — but it does make you wonder whether the Nottingham win, with Fentiman aboard, pointed to something worth noting. She raced just one day ago and is very much an active story, with soft autumn ground likely to suit and the yard clearly still placing her ambitiously.
