Not My Type

The horse's form has been mixed recently. After winning at Sandown Park in late July, it came back to win again at Beverley in August, but since then — over the last seven weeks — it has finished fifth, fifth, and sixth in its last three races. That run suggests the opposition may be getting tougher, or that Not My Type is still finding its feet at this level. What's encouraging is that it raced just a day ago, so it remains active and is being given regular opportunities to find the form it showed earlier in the summer. At two years old, there is still plenty of time for improvement, and a win rate of 2 in every 5 races is solid for a horse this early in its career. The question now is whether it can get back into the winner's circle and prove those first two wins were the real thing rather than a bright flash.
