That trainer is Jim & Suzi Best, based at Lewes in East Sussex, and they've clearly got Nezeeh figured out on some level. The horse's most productive partnership has been with jockey J M Sheridan, who has won 3 of 13 races together — a 23 per cent win rate, significantly better than Nezeeh's overall average. That suggests a working relationship that clicks, at least some of the time. Nezeeh broke through for its first win at Thirsk on 18 August 2023 and claimed its most recent victory at Bellewstown on 1 October 2025. That eleven-month gap between wins is a drought, and the recent form makes for grim reading: three straight non-placings sandwiched around a couple of eighth-place finishes over the last six races.

Still, the horse raced just yesterday, so it remains active in the yard's plans. At five years old, Nezeeh is in the middle of its career, not a young prospect and not yet a veteran. Whether the Best yard is waiting for the right ground to click again, or whether Nezeeh has simply hit a ceiling, is something only time will tell. What's clear is that this is a horse that wins sporadically but not randomly — it has preferences, and those preferences are worth remembering.
