There is not much here to dress up. A record of nothing from four attempts tells you this is a horse that has not yet worked out how to compete at even a basic level, and the trajectory — going from a fifth to a tenth to a sixth before failing to complete the course — is heading in the wrong direction. Whether that is down to fitness, confidence, or simply being outclassed each time, only the trainer will know.
What makes her worth watching, if anything, is that she is still active and still being campaigned. At six years old there is time to turn it around, and plenty of horses have taken longer than four races to find their best. For now, though, Nells Princess is a horse with everything still to prove.
