When John Flint first got her in the summer of 2024, she had already passed through a couple of different yards, and the trainer was refreshingly honest that she was a work in progress — but he liked her nature and backed himself to get a win out of her. He was right. She broke her duck at Chelmsford on 31 August 2024, and the yard has clearly found out what makes her tick since then. The Flints, based in Kenfig Hill in Bridgend, have sent out 7 winners this season, which is solid output for a smaller operation, and Nammos has contributed to that tally.

Her most recent win came at Bath just two weeks ago, on 12 May 2026, which is about as current as form gets. Her last six results read 2-1-6-2-7-5 from most recent backwards — so a win, then two placed efforts sandwiching a poor day, and a couple of below-par runs before that. That profile suggests a horse who can be inconsistent but is clearly in decent nick right now, having raced as recently as yesterday.

The jockey pairing with Jonny Peate is worth noting. Together they have won 2 from 6 races — that is 1 in every 3, which is a strong ratio at any level of the sport. When Peate is in the saddle, Nammos is a different proposition. She also seems to find her best form over a mile and a furlong to a mile and two furlongs, winning 1 of 4 races at those distances — a 25% win rate that comfortably outstrips her overall record of roughly 1 win in every 10 races across her career. Put the right trip, the right track, and the right jockey together, and Nammos has shown she knows how to get the job done.
