It raced just yesterday, so clearly fitness isn't the issue.
Mohaasset competes at Class 4 level, which sits in the middle of the racing ladder — not the top end, but not the bottom either. In three races at that level, it has yet to trouble the judge once. Trainer Mike Sowersby operates out of Little Barugh in North Yorkshire and has sent out 8 winners this season, so the yard clearly knows how to get a horse to perform. Mohaasset just hasn't been one of them yet.
