When a trainer of that calibre keeps running a horse that has not won, it usually means they believe the win is coming. Horses cost money to train and enter in races, so patience has a price. The fact that Mimi's Magic raced just yesterday and remains in active campaigning suggests the team has not given up on finding the right opportunity.

At three years old, time is still very much on her side. Many horses take a while to figure out what racing is actually about, and a yard with 39 winners on the board this season clearly knows how to get horses to the winner's enclosure. Whether Mimi's Magic joins that list soon is the question — but she is in the right hands to find out.
