Masai Land is a 2-year-old making its way through early racing under the care of
William Haggas, one of Newmarket's most successful trainers. The horse has had one race so far, finishing seventh, which is a fairly typical early experience for a young thoroughbred still learning what racing demands. Haggas's yard has been in excellent form this season, already sending out 170 winners, so Masai Land is in a stable with the experience and resources to develop the horse properly over time. At this stage, with just a single race under its belt, there is far too little to judge, but the fact that the horse was sent to race so soon suggests the trainer saw enough early promise to give it a proper test on the track.
