His most regular partner has been Jack Kennedy, who has ridden him in 11 races together for 1 win — winning roughly 1 in every 11 rides, which is modest but not unusual for a horse working at this level.

What is harder to ignore is the gap since his last win. Mars Harper last won at Listowel in September 2023 — nearly 32 months ago — and has not found the winner's enclosure in his last 6 races, with recent finishes of 6th, 2nd, 6th, 6th, 13th, and 3rd. The second place and third place show he is still competitive enough to be placing, but the wins have dried up. His trainer has been candid about this, acknowledging that he may need to drop into easier company to find another opportunity, while remaining optimistic that one or two wins could still be in him.
