Win rate and top-3 rate will show once this horse has raced.
By Jack Hobbs, a horse who showed real class during her racing career, Magic Metallurgy carries decent breeding. The dam is by Shantou, adding another layer of racing pedigree to the mix. At four years old, the horse is older than many first-time racers, which sometimes points to a horse that has taken time to develop or needed extra work to reach the racecourse. Debut runners always carry uncertainty — there is no form to read, no pattern to follow — but Carroll's record this season suggests the yard would not be sending Magic Metallurgy to the track unless they believed the horse was ready.
