The partnership with Jack Mitchell has been Kosometsuke's strongest asset. That latest placing is a small sign of life. At four years old, Kosometsuke is at an age where horses either find their feet or plateau, and the last six months of racing without a winner will have been frustrating for the yard. A return to the track with Jack Mitchell and a run at a suitable Class 4 contest could be what this horse needs to get back to the winner's circle.
