Those two wins came at opposite ends of a long drought. The first arrived at Ayr on 21 September 2024, which must have felt like a breakthrough moment. The second came much later, at Musselburgh on 2 May 2025 — but since then, nothing. Seventeen months without a victory is a tough stretch, and Jenni's recent form hasn't helped build momentum. In its last six races, there have been no wins: an eighth place, followed by a fifth, sixth, fourth, tenth, and ninth. The horse raced just a day ago, showing it is still actively campaigned, but that latest run hasn't broken the run.

The good news for Jenni and trainer Tony Coyle's Norton yard is that the horse does have a distance where it shows its best form. Over 7 furlongs to a mile, Jenni has won 2 of 17 races — a 12% win rate that is twice as good as its overall record. When racing at Class 5 level, where it has encountered most of its opposition, the numbers are less encouraging: just 1 win from 17 races. Jenni may not be a regular winner, but it is clearly one that shows flashes of ability and keeps finding its way into the placings. With recent form so poor, the yard will be hoping a return to a distance and track where it has been competitive might spark another win.
