When Jenni does find her best, it tends to come over seven furlongs to a mile. That is where she has landed both of her wins, from 13 races at those distances — a win rate of 15%, or roughly 1 in every 7 attempts. Put her over a different trip and those numbers drop away sharply, which is a useful thing to know. She typically competes at Class 5, the level just below the middle tier of British racing, and has won once from 17 races at that grade. It is honest, competitive racing, and just getting a result at that level takes real effort.

Her two wins tell their own story. The first came at Ayr in September 2024 — a track on the west coast of Scotland with a big, sweeping straight that tends to suit horses who travel well. The second, and most recent, arrived at Musselburgh in May 2025, almost twelve months ago now. Musselburgh, just outside Edinburgh, is a tight, flat track where position and timing matter enormously, and winning there is never a formality. Two different tracks, two different challenges — Jenni handled both.

She is trained by Seb Spencer at Malton in North Yorkshire, a yard that has sent out 13 winners so far this season, which shows the operation knows how to get horses ready to perform. Jenni raced just yesterday and remains active, so there is no sense that the team is winding things down. With her best form over seven furlongs to a mile and a knack for placing regularly, it would be no great surprise to see her name back in the frame before long.
