There are genuinely interesting pieces to Jenever's profile, though. The horse has a strong connection with slightly soft or wet ground, winning two of three races (67%) on it — a significant skill in British racing, where weather can turn a course muddy in hours. Sandown Park has been a real happy hunting ground, too, with two wins from four races there. That 50% win rate at a single course is precisely the kind of detail that makes a horse worth following when conditions align. Just as usefully, Jenever responds well to Lewis Edmunds in the saddle.
