Inkjet made its racing debut just a day ago and finished eighth in the race. The 2-year-old is trained by
William Haggas at Newmarket, one of the most respected yards in British racing, which has already sent out 170 winners this season. With just the single outing under its belt, there is very little to judge yet, but the fact that it has been sent out so quickly after that first run suggests the trainer sees enough promise to keep building on the experience. Racing at this age is as much about education as results — learning how to run in a competitive field, how to settle during a race, and what the horse is capable of. The eighth-place finish tells us nothing definitive about Inkjet's future potential.
