The horse's last victory came there on 3 July 2025, though it has now gone fourteen months without a win. That drought is a long one, and the recent form is uninspiring: a tenth place, then thirteenth, then a fifth — nothing to get excited about. But the fact remains that Kempton suits this horse in a way few other places do, and it thrives when the ground turns soft or muddy. On wet, heavy going, Incensed has won two of its five races, a 40% win rate that is genuinely competitive by any standard. Fast, dry ground is where this horse falls away; that much is clear from the bare figures.

Distance is another strength. Raced at distances between a mile and three furlongs and a mile and four furlongs, Incensed has won three of nine races — a respectable 33% return. Beyond those markers, its record is far thinner. Amanda Perrett's yard at Pulborough continues to send out winners this season, and Incensed remains active, having raced just a day ago. Whether it can recapture the form that brought two Kempton victories will depend on getting the conditions right: slow ground, a track that suits its running style, and a race at the right distance. Without those factors aligned, Incensed is a horse that will struggle to add to its meagre tally.
