He's An Angel

His first career win came at Wolverhampton in January 2024, and his most recent win came there too, just six weeks ago on 1 June 2026 — so he is very much in form right now. He raced just one day ago, which means this is a horse very much in the thick of things at the moment. His last six results read 5-8-2-1-8-8 from most recent to oldest, so that win sits three runs back. The two results since then — a fifth and an eighth — suggest he has not quite recaptured that peak, but with a horse who has shown he can win fresh and is clearly being kept busy, another good run may not be far away.

He does his best work on normal ground conditions, with all six of his career wins coming on a standard surface. In 21 races on good ground he has won six times — that is a win rate of 29%, or almost 1 in 3, which is a seriously strong number. On softer or firmer ground, he has not managed a single win from his remaining races. Conditions matter enormously with him.

He runs mostly at Class 6, the entry level of British racing, where four of his six wins have come. That is the honest reality of where he competes — but within that level he is a genuine contender, not just a participant.
