The horse opened its account at Pontefract back in April 2026, which suggested some real ability early on. But it is the most recent performance that really catches the eye. Haayimm won at Musselburgh just this week — in fact, just one day ago — meaning this is a horse in the form of its life right now. The sequence of results over the last four races reads 3rd, 1st, 2nd, 1st from oldest to most recent, which tells you everything: this horse has not had a bad run in the set, and it is finishing the sequence in the best possible way.

Behind the scenes, Haayimm is trained by Edward Bethell, who operates out of Middleham in North Yorkshire — one of the great traditional racing towns in England, where horses have been trained on the moorland gallops for centuries. Bethell's yard has sent out 61 winners already this season, which is a serious number and marks him out as one of the most productive trainers operating right now. When a trainer is firing in winners at that rate, it means the whole operation — the staff, the schedule, the judgement of which races to target — is working. Haayimm appears to be one of the horses benefiting most from that environment.

At just three years old and with only four races under its belt, there is genuinely no telling how good this horse might be. It has not had the opportunity to find its ceiling yet. What is clear is that it wins when asked, it places when it does not win, and it has not run a bad race yet. For a horse still this early in its career, that kind of consistency is the most exciting thing you can ask for.
