Go Teejay

Trained by Craig Lidster at Norton in North Yorkshire, Go Teejay is part of a yard that has found the winner's circle regularly this season—twenty winners sent out already. The gap between the stable's overall success and this particular horse's blank record raises the question of where Go Teejay sits in the pecking order: perhaps a work in progress, perhaps pitched at a level just beyond reach, or simply a horse that has not yet clicked on the track. At three years old, there is still theoretical time for improvement, and horses do sometimes come right after a slow start. Whether Go Teejay will be one of them remains to be seen. For now, the record stands: nine races, nothing but patience to show for it.
