His most recent win came at Cork on 13 June 2025, and he raced again just yesterday, so this is a horse being kept very busy right now. His first career win came at Gowran Park back in May 2023, so he has been a consistent presence on the Irish racing scene for a couple of years without ever being far from the action.

Sheila Lavery trains him from her yard in Summerhill, Co. Meath, and her team has sent out three winners already this season. Lavery is a patient and experienced handler, and Fort Vega's consistent placed record suggests he is being placed carefully in races that suit him.
