Three of his four victories have come in Class 2 races — which puts them among the best races in Britain — and all three came within the space of thirteen months, starting with Ripon in September 2024, then Doncaster in November, and Ripon again in September 2025. Winning once at that level takes ability. Winning three times suggests a horse who consistently turns up for the big occasions. His record specifically at Class 2 level reads 3 wins from 12 races, a win rate of 25%, or roughly 1 in every 4 — which is genuinely impressive when you consider the competition he's up against.

Ripon is where he looks most at home. Two wins from just three races there makes him almost a specialist, and after that most recent September win, jockey Jason Hart was candid about what makes him tick: Eye Of Dubai doesn't do much when he gets to the front, so the team deliberately put him on the far side of the track with plenty of horses to chase down. He needs something to aim at. It's a small but telling detail — a horse that needs to be ridden with his quirks in mind, and a yard smart enough to plan around them.

Hart has partnered him in 20 of his 25 races, winning 3 of them together — a relationship built on familiarity and trust. Meanwhile the Quinn yard has been in fine form this season, sending out 42 winners, so Eye Of Dubai is operating within a team that clearly knows what it's doing. Sean Quinn put it plainly after the Doncaster win: a horse beating older rivals at three years old and winning at the top level of sprint handicapping is a horse with a real future. The recent form figures show an 11th and a 7th in his last two runs, so he hasn't hit those heights again just yet — but with his Ripon form and a trainer who picks spots carefully, it would be unwise to write him off.
