Didaar

The interesting part is where Didaar runs best. Over distances between a mile and three furlongs and a mile and four furlongs, he's noticeably sharper than elsewhere. At those trips, he's won 1 of his 11 races, which is roughly double his overall win rate. It's a small sample, but it's a genuine edge. The problem is that he typically races in Class 5 — the lowest tier — and hasn't won a single race at that level in 14 attempts. His sole victory came at Nottingham, and that remains his only success to date.

His recent form shows he's still active and competitive. In his last six races, he's finished in the money three times — sixth, fifth, and third — but he's also delivered a couple of placings outside the frame. That's the pattern of a horse still searching for consistency, one that can turn up on any given day but hasn't yet found a formula. Didaar was last seen just a day ago, so the yard is clearly still trying to find the right spot for him. Whether another win comes at Nottingham, his track record, or somewhere new remains to be seen.
