Deluded

The one win came at Wolverhampton on 20 September 2025, and it stands as the highlight of the story so far. Wolverhampton is an all-weather track that runs year-round, and picking up a first career win there is a respectable marker for any young horse finding its feet. That result came around six months ago, and Deluded is now returning from a break of roughly five months — which at this stage of a horse's development is not unusual. Young horses are often given time to grow and strengthen between campaigns, so the absence shouldn't be read as a concern.

Behind the scenes, Deluded is trained by Charlie Fellowes at Newmarket, the historic heartland of British flat racing in Suffolk. Fellowes has had 17 winners from his yard this season alone, which tells you this is a trainer who knows how to get horses ready to perform.
