Deja Vu Diva

She raced just yesterday, which tells you the team are keeping her busy and clearly believe there is something worth finding in her. At two years old, many horses are still figuring out what racing actually asks of them, and it would be too soon to write her off — but she will need to improve considerably to get involved at the sharp end.

Her trainer Clare Hobson operates out of Royston in Hertfordshire, a yard that has sent out three winners already this season. That is a small but meaningful number — it shows the stable knows how to get a horse ready to win, even if Deja Vu Diva has not yet been one of them. Whether Hobson can find the right opportunity to help this filly put it all together remains to be seen.
