Crack of Thunder
Crack of Thunder is a 4-year-old still chasing her first win after four races without success. Trained by
Jack Jones at Newmarket, the horse has finished outside the places each time, most recently running twelfth just a day ago. Jones's yard has been in good form this season with 33 winners to their name, so there is clearly quality elsewhere in the stable, but Crack of Thunder has not yet managed to tap into it.

Our model's view, based on this horse's career and recent runs
At this stage of her career, without a win on the board, the horse faces an uphill battle to prove she belongs at the level she is running at. The consistency is there — she is not finishing last — but consistency alone does not pay the bills in racing. Given that she raced only yesterday and is still actively campaigned, the yard clearly believe there is improvement to come, though her record so far suggests a lengthy road ahead.
