Cosmic Funk
Cosmic Funk is a three-year-old still searching for that breakthrough first win. In 13 races so far, the horse has found the frame twice — both places, no victories — and the recent form makes for frustrating reading: across the last six outings, it has finished sixth, fourth, fourth, sixth, fifth, and fifth. Most recently racing just a day ago, Cosmic Funk has now gone at least six races without troubling the judge.Based on TrackLab's analysis

Our model's view, based on this horse's career and recent runs
Trained by P J F Murphy at Castlecomer in Co Kilkenny, Cosmic Funk is part of a yard that has been selective with success this season, sending out four winners so far. That's the context worth remembering: Murphy's operation is not one throwing everything at the wall. For Cosmic Funk to turn this around, something needs to shift — whether that's a drop in class, a different track, or simply finding the right race at the right moment. At this stage, patience and the right opportunity will matter more than anything else.
