The jockey partnership worth watching is with Harry Burns, who has ridden Carbine Harvester in 8 of its 17 races and won on it 4 times — that's a 50% win rate together, which is an extraordinary figure. In other words, when Burns is in the saddle, this horse wins half its races. The fact that Burns hasn't been able to conjure a win in recent outings makes the current losing run all the more puzzling.

The toughest nut to crack has been Class 2, which represents the upper end of British racing's quality ladder.
