Win rate and top-3 rate will show once this horse has raced.
The pedigree reads well enough: Brazilian Blue is by Blue Bresil out of a Bob Back mare, a decent cross of bloodlines. The horse is trained by Anthony Honeyball at Mosterton in Dorset, a yard that has already sent out 51 winners this season, so there is clearly skill and form in the operation. But until the gates open and Brazilian Blue actually runs, it is pure guesswork. Sometimes a horse that shows tremendous promise at home runs flat; sometimes an outsider that nobody expected much from jumps out with real ability. That uncertainty is precisely what makes a debut fascinating. Everything is still possible.
