Many horses simply run better at certain venues, whether because of the track's shape, the surface, or something harder to explain. Whatever the reason, Wolverhampton clearly suits Brasil Power. He won there on Boxing Day 2025 in a Class 2 race — one of the better races in Britain — and then backed it up with another win at the same track just three weeks ago. That's not a coincidence. That's a horse who knows where home is.

Over longer distances, the picture gets even more compelling. At between a mile and six furlongs and two miles, he has won 3 of just 5 races — a 60% win rate. In racing, that kind of return at a specific trip is practically a flashing arrow pointing at "run him here." His trainer George Boughey, whose Newmarket yard has sent out 105 winners already this season, clearly knows how to place a horse well, and Brasil Power is a fine example of that art.
