That is a 12% win rate at its preferred distance, which is noticeably better than the 9% it manages at the Class 6 level it typically competes at. It is a modest level of racing, but even there, holding your own consistently takes more than people give horses credit for.

David Probert has ridden Bizarre Law more than anyone else, partnering it in 11 races and winning twice — a win rate of around 1 in 5, which is a genuinely strong return and stands well above the horse's overall average. That relationship clearly brings something out in Bizarre Law, and it is worth noting whenever Probert takes the ride. The horse is trained by Michael Herrington at Willoughton in Lincolnshire, a yard that has sent out 32 winners already this season — a healthy, active operation that clearly knows how to place its horses. Bizarre Law raced just 15 days ago and is firmly in training, so another outing is likely not far away.
