Birgham Dub

Trained by Jane Chapple-Hyam out of her yard in Dalham, Suffolk, Birgham Dub is part of a stable that has already sent out 24 winners this season — a yard clearly in good form. The horse broke its duck at Haydock Park in July 2025, then built on that with a second win at Southwell in April 2026. The slight wrinkle in the form book is a 10th-place finish sandwiched between those two victories, which is a reminder that no horse wins every time — but bouncing back from that to win again says something about the horse's ability to perform when it matters.

Raced just yesterday and still active, Birgham Dub is a horse worth watching as it heads into what should be a fascinating next chapter. At three years old, it is only just beginning to find its feet, and with two wins already banked and a trainer in good nick behind it, the next few months could tell us a great deal about just how good this young horse might become.
