Azuinthejungle

Trained by Nigel Tinkler at Langton in North Yorkshire, Azuinthejungle thrives on fast, dry ground. When conditions suit him — which happens roughly half the time — he wins one in every two races. His record at Beverley, where he claimed his first career win back in June 2025, tells a similar story: two wins from five visits shows he has found a track that brings out the best in him. He tends to race in Class 5, where he wins roughly one in seven races, which reflects a horse operating near the ceiling of his ability but doing it effectively.

Tinkler has been pleased with the horse's improvement across the year. The trainer noted that Azuinthejungle won three races in a row between June and July, showing real momentum before the team decided to give him a break to avoid running him into the ground. With that rest now behind him, Azuinthejungle is back in action, having raced just yesterday. Faye McManoman, his regular jockey, has ridden him in 12 races and secured two wins together — a partnership still finding its feet but one with more races ahead.
