The one reason to keep watching is the yard behind it. Trainer Ruth Carr, based at Stillington in North Yorkshire, has sent out 63 winners this season alone — a genuinely productive operation that knows how to place horses and find the right opportunities. If there is ability hiding somewhere in Antique Blue, Carr is well placed to find it. With a race just yesterday, this is clearly a horse still very much in active training and being given every chance to find its feet.
