Agamemnon

Trained by Richard Hughes at Upper Lambourn in Berkshire, Agamemnon is part of a yard in good form this season, having already sent out sixty winners. That kind of stable firepower means the young horse has solid foundations, though he will need to improve markedly to graduate into the better races. His recent form has been inconsistent — a second place, a fourth, and a third mixed in with a couple of disappointing efforts lower down the field — which is fairly typical for a horse this age still working out what racing is all about. With his last run coming just a day ago, he remains actively campaigned, and there is still time for him to develop into something more than he has shown so far.
