Six races without a win is a drought, even for a horse that has never been prolific. The most recent outing, just a day ago, saw it finish sixth, which puts Adrestia right back in the action. It raced 11th, 8th, and 7th in its three previous starts, the kind of mid-field finishes that suggest it is not out of the conversation but also not delivering the goods. Still, when conditions and company align — dry ground, a top-class race — Adrestia has shown it can win. It does so roughly 1 in 5 times at Class 2 level (1 win from 5 races). Trained by Simon & Ed Crisford at Newmarket, a yard with 78 winners already this season, Adrestia remains active and in work. The question is whether it can find the form it showed in mid-2025 again, or whether that Ascot win is looking increasingly like its high-water mark.
