J Leroy is a trainer who has just started out in the sport. With fewer than twelve months of training experience under his belt — his first recorded result came in March 2026 — he is still finding his way in what is notoriously one of the toughest professions in racing. So far, his single runner across the past year has not crossed the line first, a common reality for new trainers breaking into the game. Building a yard from scratch takes time, patience, and a fair bit of luck. Whether Leroy will develop into a force remains to be seen, but for now he is at the very beginning of what could be a long journey.
