Daniel Bourne

Bourne has been training since 2021, which makes him one of the newer voices in the sport. Four years is still very much the learning curve — building contacts, finding owners, figuring out which horses suit which races. Most trainers at this stage are operating with small strings and limited firepower, sending out runners when the right opportunity comes along rather than flooding the entries. The fact that he has kept a licence active and is still placing horses in races is itself a sign that the operation is ticking along, even if the winners haven't come just yet.
