The closest thing to a defining partnership in his yard so far is Fix At All, a horse he has run six times without a victory. Six races together with nothing to show for it is a tough run, though for a trainer still finding his feet, simply building that kind of consistent working relationship with a horse is part of learning the job.

Bickers-Price has only been training since 2023, which means he is still very much in the early stages — building owners, finding horses that suit his set-up, and figuring out where his string can be competitive. Most trainers take time to establish themselves, and at this point the story is less about what he has achieved and more about what kind of operation he is building. The first winner, when it comes, will matter a great deal.
