Zizania Du Mazet
Zizania Du Mazet made a perfect start to racing life this week, winning at Wolverhampton on 26 August. The five-year-old has raced once and won it — a 100% record that, while built on a single outing, is exactly what any owner wants to see on a debut.Based on TrackLab's analysis

Our model's view, based on this horse's career and recent runs
Trained by Charlie Wallis at Ardleigh in Essex, Zizania Du Mazet joins a yard enjoying decent form this season with seven winners already sent out. The timing is promising too: fresh off a successful run just days ago, the horse is still active and in the trainer's hands. How Wallis chooses to follow up this debut win will be worth watching — some trainers move their winners up quickly, while others prefer to build confidence with another race at a similar level first. For now, Zizania Du Mazet has done what it needed to do and is a genuine early prospect to keep an eye on.
