Zephyra

She is trained by Marco Botti at his Newmarket yard, which has already sent out 45 winners this season — a sign of a busy, successful operation. For a young horse still finding her feet, being in a yard with that kind of form and experience counts for a lot. Botti's team knows how to develop 2-year-olds and bring them to the track ready to run, and Zephyra's recent pattern of placing finishes suggests she is improving rather than going backwards. The blip last time out is the sort of thing that happens to horses still learning the game; what matters now is whether she can string together another run of placed finishes and finally break through for that first win.
