There is not much to judge it on yet, and that is completely normal. Most young horses need a run or two simply to figure out what racing is all about before they start showing their best. What is worth noting is who has it in their corner: Joseph Patrick O'Brien, training out of Owning Hill in County Kilkenny, has sent out 160 winners already this season alone. That is a remarkable number — it means his yard is consistently producing results at a serious level, and horses in his care tend to improve as the season goes on. A fourth-place finish on debut for a trainer of that calibre is far from a red flag; it is often just the beginning.
Zarak Pasha is one to keep an eye on as it gains experience.
