Young Doran has yet to break through into the winner's circle, finishing second and third in his three outings so far, but he remains an active competitor at five years old. Trained by
P J Rothwell at Tinahely in County Wicklow, he is part of a yard that has found plenty of success this season, sending out 35 winners. His most recent start came just a day ago, when he finished ninth — a step backward from his previous two runs, where he placed second and third. That run suggests he may need time to find his rhythm again, but with racing regularly, there is still opportunity for him to record his first victory.
