What makes Yordan genuinely special is the absolute consistency on normal ground. In three races on standard conditions, the horse has won all three. That is not luck or a small sample size — that is a horse that runs its best when the track is neither waterlogged nor rock-hard, and a trainer who has learned exactly where to run it. Yordan won its first race at Southwell on 16 August, then picked up another victory there on 15 October, just days ago. The most recent outing came only yesterday, when the horse finished second — barely a blemish on an otherwise stellar sequence.

Look at the last five races: a win, then 13th, then back-to-back top-three finishes, then second. Three wins from five races tells you this is a horse performing well above the level it started at. Young, improving, and clearly loved by a trainer who understands what it takes to win — Yordan has all the hallmarks of a horse that could go top-3 finishes. The fact that it is still actively racing and has just come back from a run yesterday suggests there is more to come.
