Yabreen is a two-year-old still waiting for a breakthrough. The horse made its first appearance just a day ago and finished seventh, which is par for the course at this early stage — plenty of young horses need time to find their feet on the track. With
Jack Channon's yard at West Ilsley having sent out 46 winners already this season, there is clearly plenty of quality horsepower moving through the operation, so the infrastructure is there for development. Whether Yabreen can climb the ranks from that opening run remains to be seen, but at this age, a single race tells you almost nothing about a horse's future prospects.
