Written In My Soul
Written In My Soul is a six-year-old that has yet to break through into the winner's circle after twelve attempts on the track. The horse has managed just one placed finish across that entire run — a fifth-place effort in its most recent race, just a day ago. That single placed run came in the middle of a sequence where it has otherwise finished out of the places repeatedly, and the pattern has held firm across its last six races, where a pair of fifth-place finishes represent its only returns to the placings.Based on TrackLab's analysis

Our model's view, based on this horse's career and recent runs
Trained by E D Delany at Laytown in Co Meath, Written In My Soul continues to race regularly despite the lack of success. Delany's yard has managed five winners this season, so there is proven capability within the operation. For Written In My Soul itself, the challenge remains finding a race where the pieces fall into place — ground conditions, field strength, or simple fortune — that might finally deliver a breakthrough victory. At six years old, the horse is well established in its racing career, and the immediate priority will be recapturing some of that elusive form that would at least bring more consistency between the rare placings.
