That dip is telling. At this age, horses can improve rapidly or struggle with the jump in class or conditions, and right now it looks like Wondervision may be finding things tougher. The recent seventh suggests it lost form, though the two earlier placed runs show it hasn't lost the ability entirely.

Wondervision is trained by Jack Channon at West Ilsley in Berkshire, a yard that has been in good form this season with 46 winners to its name. Channon is experienced enough to be patient with a young horse, and placing it at a track like Wolverhampton for its breakthrough win shows tactical awareness — he picked the right spot. At two years old, Wondervision still has time to mature and rediscover the form that produced that victory, but the recent blank races suggest the trainer and yard will need to make a plan to get it back on track.
