Our model's view, based on this horse's career and recent runs
Trained by Liam P Cusack at Mountrath in County Laois, Winston's Promise is part of a yard that has sent out three winners so far this season. For a horse still learning its trade at three years old and without a win on the board, regular racing is often the best teacher. The step up to victory will require improvement in finishing position — a jump from the 8th and 10th-place efforts into the winner's enclosure — but at this early stage of its career, experience and time remain on its side.
