The recent picture isn't much brighter. Looking back at the last six races, Wingit has finished fifth, then missed a run, then sixth, eleventh, sixth, and twelfth — results that tell the story of a horse that is competing but not threatening. A run as recently as yesterday shows the team is still actively searching for the right opportunity, which suggests they believe there is a race to be won somewhere, even if it hasn't shown itself yet.
