Win rate and top-3 rate will show once this horse has raced.
Nolan's operation has been in decent form this season, with 25 winners already sent out, so the trainer clearly knows his business. Whelkeen View's debut will be a first proper look at whether this horse belongs in the racing ranks or whether their time might be better spent elsewhere. That's the honest truth about a racecourse debut — it answers the question that all the work at home cannot: can this horse actually do it under race conditions? All eyes will be on how they handle the pace, the noise, and the simple pressure of running alongside other horses for the first time.
