Westender
Westender is a 3-year-old still searching for his first victory, with three races completed and nothing to show for them yet. His most recent outing came just a day ago, where he finished eighth, but before that he ran seventh and then eleventh, which suggests he has yet to find the level where he can be competitive. With no wins or places so far across his career, he remains winless—a situation that will need to turn around soon if he is to justify his time on the track.Based on TrackLab's analysis

Our model's view, based on this horse's career and recent runs
He races for David Menuisier's yard at Pulborough in West Sussex, a stable that has already sent out 20 winners this season, so there is clearly capability and form in the operation. Whether Westender is being given time to develop or is simply still finding his feet is hard to say from the form alone, but the fact that he was back in action just a day after his last race suggests the trainer is keen to get him racing regularly and find the right spot for him. For now, he remains a horse very much in the early stages of his career with work still to do.
